The meeting and general assembly of SalamMed project took place in Marsa Matruh (Egypt) from 22 to 24 April 2024. The dense days of work, excellently organized by the Sustainable Development Center for Matrouh Resources (SDC), allowed the partners to take stock of the various WPs, sharing in particular:
– their experiences on Living Labs about the co-design approach, stakeholder engagement, learning, and innovation processes;
– the in-depth analysis of technologies and business opportunities, with particular attention to “Nature-based Solutions” (NbS)
– the various approaches relating to scaling out, exploitation, communication and dissemination.
The visit to the Wool-Manufacturing lab and the Agarma sub-catchment of Wadi Kharouba allowed the meeting with students, local end-users and farmers.
